The Fine Print (The Rules of the Kennel)
To qualify for an exchange or store credit, please ensure your item meets these very important Basset Commandments:
Item Requirement Our Basset Rationale

Return Window: You must initiate your return within 30 days of delivery. This gives you plenty of time to sniff it over! After 30 days, our memory is a little short (blame the sniffing), and we can’t process the return.

Item Condition: Items must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in the same perfect, resaleable condition you received them. If it smells like a dog park or has any mysterious slobber marks, we won't be able to accept it. Please keep it pristine!

Packaging & Tags: The item must be returned with all original packaging and tags attached. We need the whole package, right down to the official paperwork, to get it ready for its next loving home.

Proof of Purchase: A copy of your receipt or order number must be included. Helps us match the package to the pup!


The "How-To" (Follow the Scent)
Ready to start your return? Don't worry, it's easier than training a Basset Hound to heel!

Email Us: Send an email to [Your Returns Email Address Here, e.g., returns@yourwebsite.com] with your Order Number and the item(s) you wish to return. Please tell us if you want an Exchange or Store Credit!

Get Your Label: We will email you the next steps, including the return shipping address.

The Journey Back: You are responsible for the return shipping costs for "change of mind" returns. We recommend using a trackable shipping service—we worry when our packages wander!

Inspection & Treat: Once we receive and inspect your item (we’re very good at sniffing things out), we will process your Exchange or issue your Store Credit within 5–7 business days. We will notify you via email as soon as it's complete!
Non-Returnable Items (Some Things Just Can't Go Back)
Just like we can't un-eat a steak, some items are considered a Final Sale and cannot be returned for an exchange or credit:

Perishable items (Dog treats, they're non-returnable!)

Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Clearance" on the product page.

Gift Cards.

Personalized or custom-made products.
