If you’re a Basset fan, you know the drill: that instant, deep love is completely inevitable! It’s forged in those special early days of intense attention and endless patience, all while trying very hard not to crack up at the daily comedic stunts they pull. After a long four-year wait, and copious research, our precious girl, Marie, finally arrived, filling our hearts instantly with her Basset-sized joy and attitude!
Wanting to give Marie all of our time, our first venture was a home alterations and dressmaking studio. It was fun, but it didn't quite capture our passion for her floppy-eared breed. After a year of stitching, we spotted a huge, unfitting problem: the desperate lack of warm, dry coats that actually fit a Basset Hound’s unique stature and offer the style and grace they so deserve.
Inspired by our gorgeous girl, Marie, and for Basset Hound lovers everywhere, we bring you an online shop dedicated to celebrating the unique stature, hilarious personalities, and incredibly loving, gentle nature of the Basset Hound!
